Lab stats

Statistical trivia about Labradors.

Labrador retrievers are a popular breed, with 125,000 registered in the US (most popular breed) and 45,000 in the UK, for a total of about 170,000.

There are only 27,000 people in Labrador.

So, there are about 6 registered Labrador retrievers for every person in Labrador who could be retrieved.

On the other hand, if each Labrador retriever brought one person to Labrador
... well, we don't know for sure what would happen, but it probably involves even more unemployment.
