Bernie Mac died, and I'm sad and a bit upset.
Bernie Mac was younger than me (50 vs 58).
Bernie Mac was richer than me.
Bernie Mac was funnier than me.
Bernie Mac was more famous than me.
None of which kept him from dying from complications of sarcoidosis.
I also have sarcoidosis (inactive). Today, I'm considering myself lucky that I'm 30% below normal lung capacity, but not being prepared for burial.
