Spring Olympics, with a bat and ball

Baseball's going to be out of the Olympics because the Americans aren't sending top players, and the Olympics doesn't want amateurs any more.

Softball's going to be out of the Olympics because the Americans win too easily.

Cricket hasn't been in the Olympics since 1900, but is very popular in India, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia and other countries with British empire ties.

The solution is simple: a spring Olympics with the best baseball players (who aren't the focus of spring training anyway), softball, and some shorter version of cricket (I've heard Twenty20 is such a version, but I'm not familiar with it).
