Loop sidewalks are busy places in the evening, especially near the train stations. There's a bit of unavoidable jostling, usually accompanied by "Excuse me" or "Sorry". So it was a shock to see/hear just in front of me a large woman say
"Excuse YOU!"
and another woman going in the other direction, obviously the target of this, say right back
"Excuse YOU, YOURSELF!"
and then the first woman say "Excuse YOU, YOURSELF, B****!"
Luckily at this point the antagonists had continued to go in their opposite directions and were about 10 feet apart with a few people in between them (including me), and nothing further occurred.
