Flooded commute on the North Branch bike path

The rains yesterday morning are still causing the Chicago River to rise – the third picture shows the water still flowing over the trail.  There were four flooded spots in the Bunker Hill preserve (Milwaukee, Caldwell, Devon and Harts Rd as boundaries).  The deepest was knee-high, in the field shown in the bottom picture so I had to scamper to get off the bike and start wading while carrying the bike. Note the bottom picture looks like it includes the normal river channel, but it doesn't -- that's about 100-150 yards to the left.

This isn’t on the “hill” fields in Bunker Hill, but the lower fields to the south.
