I don’t know why I found this ad on Facebook milk-through-the-nose funny.
Maybe it’s the thought of the World’s Largest Retailer, the scourge of small retailers the world over, is so desperate for attention it needs to advertise it has friends.
Maybe it’s the indignity of seeing 3 of my respected former co-workers – marketing executives all – shilling for Walmart – not that they are necessarily aware of this. That part I’d understand. Everybody in marketing wants Walmart to like THEM, so why not like Walmart?
