Yes, posts have been sparse. Busy at work (my normal job) and agreed to teach Marketing Research at Dominican in Summer 1 semester – meaning 6 hours of lectures each week for 2 months.
This wouldn’t be so bad, but I had decided to revamp the course and eliminate the textbook, relying on readings in order to cover topics which at least related to the 1990’s, if not today. The MR textbooks tend to assume you are mostly doing survey work, and print / phone surveys at that. How quaint.
So now the grades are in and I have a couple of months before teaching the same course in the fall – but once a week and with the course outline pretty well set – except for replacing some of the stuff that didn’t work so well in the summer.
And maybe blogging a bit more.
