I read a joke recently about "ADHD Awareness Month" -- a whole month?

Then I thought perhaps the joke was actually based on reality, and it turns out that it is.

But if you go to sites like this

I discover that in the U.S. September 20 is celebrated as ADHD Awareness DAY.

This clearly demonstrates an important difference between Canadians and Americans.
