A co-worker wrote me:
"Fyi I removed all ild meetings from my calendar."
ild is the acronym for a company project. But I first read this as "iid meetings", which gave me a laugh. In statistics, the term "iid" refers to "independent and identically distributed" random variables.
The notion of "independent and identically distributed random meetings" sounds pretty much like life in a corporation.
