I really don't understand the idea of Twitter. I barely understand why people would want to post on Facebook.
I really don't understand the e-mail I just received from Ace Hardware, informing me that 'Ace is now on Twitter'. Why on earth would I want to get short messages from my hardware store all the time? Isn't e-mail, a web site, and ads in the local paper enough?
In fact, I am so mystified by this that I'm almost tempted to sign up, just to see if I'm missing anything!
