Multimodal Graph


I’m just posting this because it’s such a fine example of a multi-modal distribution, in which there is more than one peak.  

 

This is data from a student paper (I have an adjunct professor post at Dominican University in River Forest, IL).  The X axis is the time it takes to complete a medical test from order to test completion, in days.  So 1 is 1 day, 0.1 is 2.4 hours, 0.01 is about 15 minutes, and so forth.

 

There are all kinds of tests in here, done under different priorities. It looks like there are several (log)normal distributions in here.
