Largest U.S. city without a bookstore?

After B. Dalton closes, it's likely Laredo, Texas, a city of about 250,000.

This isn't one of those quirks, either. While there are only two bookstores in my city of nearly 50,000, I'm in the suburbs and there are several Borders and B&N nearby. Laredo isn't near much. It's 150 miles from San Antonio, where the nearest bookstore is.

Thank the Lord for Amazon.
