Earlier we reported on interesting Fox News graphics. But they weren't done. They continue their campaign to convince us math literacy is a tool of the liberal media. Once again, percentages don't make any reasonable sense:
But this time it's worse. The obvious thing to do when faced with a mess-up like this is to say "hey, guys, we did it too fast. Sorry about that." and then find some unpaid intern to shuffle off to other duties. But...
Fox News actually defends this chart. Even Sanford knew when the jig was up and admitted he was in Argentina with his mistress, not on the Appalachian Trail. This is more like a Stalinist approach to truth.
Note this isn't Rasmussen's error. The original Rasmussen question and summary was accurate.
