I did my first conversion of a song on cassette tape to .mp3 format today.
My aim is to go through the many, many cassette tapes I have and slowly move what I want to keep onto .mp3. Cassette decks only last so long, and the ones I have seem to be deteriorating. The tapes themselves can deteriorate, and take up a lot of space without providing much value.
I'd like to do this as separate songs (rather than separate sides), but I'm not sure I'll have the patience.
