This video makes a good point, both about legality and the tendency of obstructions to be ever-present in bike lanes. At least obstructions can be seen ahead of you – not so the taxis using the bike lane as a passing lane.
But I wonder if this guy is a stunt man? I certainly wouldn’t try these things at all, let alone with no helmet and wearing shorts.
