Chicago has “The Bean” – a sculpture officially called “Cloud Gate”.
This sculpture is in Hanover, NH on the Dartmouth campus. When my wife and I needed to go to the rest room, I said “Let’s meet by the dog bone.” She had no trouble understanding my meaning.
The official name of the sculpture had something to do with torsos. The museum and theatre were closed, so we didn’t get to find out what the locals call it.
